Kleuren

De huisstijl kent een contrastrijk kleurenpalet, dat bestaat uit:

• De 3 logokleuren;
• Een aanvullend palet van 7 kleuren plus wit; de secundaire kleuren;
• De lichte en een donkere tinten van deze 10 kleuren.

Hiermee komt het totale kleurenpalet op 30 kleuren plus wit. Wit is aan het palet toegevoegd omdat de provincie zich met een heldere, niet te zware stijl wil profileren als open en toegankelijke organisatie. Dit brede kleurenpalet kenmerkt de veelzijdigheid van de provincie. Het biedt voldoende variatie en ruimte om te communiceren in lijn met de toegankelijkheidseisen.

Het gebruik van kleuren is afhankelijk van het stijlvak waarin het middel wordt ontwikkeld. Bekijk de toepassing van kleur op richtlijnen per stijlvak.

Let op! Er mogen geen andere kleurtinten gebruikt worden dan de vastgestelde lichte en donkere tinten uit het palet. Toepassing van kleur in datavisualisatie vormt hierop een uitzondering.

Toegankelijkheidseisen

Houd bij toepassing van kleur rekening met de verplichte toegankelijkheidseisen niveau WCAG 2.1 AA. Hieronder zie je een overzicht met de kleurencombinaties die voldoen aan de WCAG 2.1 AA eisen.

• De hoofdletter A betekent dat teksten groter dan 18 pixels in deze kleur toegestaan zijn op de getoonde achtergrondkleur.
• De kleine letter a betekent dat teksten groter dan 12 pixels in deze kleur toegestaan zijn op de achtergrondkleur.
• Is het vakje leeg? Dan voldoet deze kleurencombinatie niet aan de gestelde eisen. Kies dan een andere kleurcombinatie.

Houd rekening met deze tabel bij het opmaken van teksten in alle soorten middelen.
